Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa are apparently appearing at the UNIQLO store on Oxford Street on June 19th from 11AM – 1PM to sign copies of Peace Walker and exclusive postcards.
Take this with a pinch of salt, as I haven’t found any official records of this. Details about the event on the 18th are also unknown.
UPDATE: This event was confirmed by UNIQLO on April 8th. You may have noticed that the confirmation was 10 days prior to me posting the news stating I couldn’t find an official source. I guess there’s a reason that I’m not a professional journalist.
UPDATE 2: The event on the 18th is being held at HMV on Oxford Street, same as MGS4… apparently. However, I can’t find any confirmation of this (I know I said that last time, but I’ve looked extra hard this time… I promise!), or even other sites reporting the news. The article over at MCV says they got the information from Konami but it just seems odd that no one else knows anything.
More MGS UNIQLO T-Shirts being released for PEACE WALKER. This is old news so I apologise for the delay, but a new video has just been released where Tomokazu Sugita (Miller) and Yumi Kikuchi (Strangelove) show you the shirts.
The Original Soundtrack for METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER is out now! Also available is the HEAVENS DIVIDE MAXI SINGLE! Both are fairly expensive. Otaku.co.uk are asking for £30 for the OST, and £15.99 for the single.

Kojima is taking Peace Walker around the world, starting in Tokyo on April 29th and finishing in London on June 19th. Seems they were supposed to make a stop in Mexico, but it seems to have gone AWOL.

Just a heads up, this is going to be the new style of posts coming in on the blog, which may see a return to bringing more relevant news in. I’ll admit as of late, I have been neglecting reporting MGS news due to finding myself being too lazy to type out an actual blog post. I had registered a twitter account for the site, but the page customisation was just too frustrating, so I scrapped that idea. I’ll be looking into getting a better news system where I can make short and sweet twitter style news posts that simply tell you all you need to know and none of what you don’t.
It’s Christmas day, and with it comes a new addition to my collection. Among my presents this year, the last remaining standard figure from the new series of Medicom Ultra Detail Figures – Crouching Old Snake, a gift from my brother.

After my brother got in from work, we decided to order a pizza to celebrate my birthday. When it arrived, I took it upstairs to find a copy of Metal Gear Solid on PC sitting on my shelf waiting for me.
MGS on PC is becoming increasingly difficult to find and whenever it does pop up, 9 times out of ten it is missing the original “big box” packaging and is being sold as just a small CD case and instruction manual. Given the amount of shelf space the big box takes up, most owners would normally just throw the box away. The example I now have still has the big box and is in almost pristine condition, still carrying all the original leaflets and adorned with most, if not all, of the original store stickers on both the box, and the CD case.

Arriving in the post this morning was a factory sealed copy of the limited edition, 2 disc, Japanese version of the Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the Patriots soundtrack.
FOXHOUNDER, a good friend and long-time MGO teammate had a copy of the soundtrack, and decided he didn’t want it anymore. Unexpectedly, he offered to give me his copy rather than sell it on. So a massive thanks to him.
